No worries (maybe) because it's already available on the feed.

Enjoyed the show today. That was a classic example of how not to play "What is it wearing?" (or whatever it was called).

    Hi!
Jimmy Pardo is filling in for Scott on CDR-Radio today. Fun stuff planned and possibly the worst song ever recorded.

You know, they already played that "shut-up-a-yo-face" song"...

As I mentioned over on the Vancouver Comedy Fest thread, I really appreciate that the CDR folks brought this show to Vancouver. Thank you!! I drove all the way up from Seattle (and all the way home the same night!) just to see it -- and wasn't disappointed. Great sets all around.

I'm still amazed, though, at how upset, frustrated and angry I get when I see someone heckling one of my heroes. For those of us who went to such trouble to attend, it is doubly upsetting. Also: Who heckles a theater show?! Insane!

That said: I have a media pass for the festival and grabbed some quick pics of the evening. If anyone wants to see em, they are here.

Any ETA on the new podcast?

The bonus podcast recorded in Vancouver was great. Everyone was really funny and Paul F Tompkins was amazing.

It was surreal to sit a few feet away from some of my favourite comedians.

I think if engineer Stephanie doesn't have time to put it up Friday, she usually does it when she returns to the station Monday.

Thanks to all who came out to the bonus episode! It was super fun, and the crowd was very generous. We're going to try to post it early next week.

Listened to the radio show live yesterday while at work. The Starchild was as fascinating as ever. Jimmy is a great guest host.

I love PFT's take on Ice-T. He may make a lot of life mistakes, but he's quick to own up to them and apologize. He really wears his heart on his sleeve.

    Re: Comedy Death-Ray related stuff

Is the Ice-T character something that Mr. F. Tompkins did before comedy death raydio, or was it created specifically for his appearance?

Because it's a fucking great character.

Todd also tore up the stage, let's not forget.

Just for Y.I. as well, I'm in the same boat that is still docked at the non-Pardo marina.
