howdy! glad to be here!
My name is Becca. I'm 22, from Chicago, and I'm a comedy geek (a few other kinds of geeks too, but that's neither here nor there) - and thinking about trying my hand at stand up locally.
Hello there. I'm Rob, in LA, and I'm a video editor, among other things that pay even less. I've been doing some improvising and sketch around UCB along with video projects for a while now. I tend to lurk here because someone else has usually already made whatever point I thought I might contribute to a thread. Right now I'm doing the podcast in my signature with a variety of LA comics & actors, and working on various video projects to be set free someday soon. I'm reasonably tall and rarely get in fistfights.
Better Radio is a sketch comedy podcast. In space. And iTunes.
hey my name's pete and im from new rochelle, ny. i've been frequenting the site for about a year now and my name says it all: i love never not funny and i have enough self-awareness to know that im not funny... ever. so dont expect much humor in my posts. im sure everyone is looking forward to that.
Sudhamishra Memorabilia is a very catchy name. Run with it. Oh, right, you're not a real person.
I think Sudhamishra Memoribilia is the Indian cousin of Suzie Cocktail.

Hello, I lack a penis.
Hi. I'm Pete. I'm more of a comedy fan than a comedian.
I do play guitar in a band called Metallagher that mashes Metallica songs with Gallagher jokes, but I'm not really the funny one in that. Plus it's pretty stupid.

Hi I'm John(?). I'm a screenwriter living in Santa Fe, NM. Comedy is like a second hobby for me (next to movies). I love to geek out about comedians and comedy stuffs of all sorts and kinds, I'm even considering trying some stand-up although I'm not exactly used to writing comedy for stand-up, but I'd definitely would like to learn.
I'm Jay. I don't really do much of anything. Glad to be here.
Hey all, I'm Max. I do stand up. I tweet. I'm twenty. Let's do it!

I'm Jesse. I live in Las Vegas with my fiancee, my dog and my cat and I love scrapbooking and astronauts!
Hullo forum!
I am Jen, a military wife from everywhere (it's pointless to try and pinpoint me, I'll just move again in a couple of months). I listen to many comedy podcasts, and hear "A Special Thing" mentioned frequently. I thought I'd better check it out, if it's so special!
I'm not a comedian, nor do I aspire to be, but I am a comedian's best friend: a discerning audience with a hearty, genuine laugh. I do, however, participate in a funny podcast (The Dave and Steve Show, and it's corollary, The Dangly Bits). I'm not exactly sure how that happened, but I'm glad that it did. I got to meet Steel Panther last Friday when we interviewed them! It was awesome. I got to leave the kid at a sitter's and go pretend to be a grown-up for a while!
I look forward to reading many posts that will entertain, inform, disgust and repel me. Hopefully, you will have content to share with me in the form of podcasts, videos, cds, and other such projects that I can support with my money and my hearty, genuine laugh.
Hey, I'm Britt! I'll probably lurk for awhile, become addicted, and then just drop it altogether.
Yay for predictability!
Hey, there! It's great to be making this obligatory post in this thread that I couldn't imagine anybody reading of their own volition. I realize that this introduction to me is ultimately falling on deaf ears, so I'm just going to keep that in mind while I write it.
I'm a student in Portland, Oregon, and recently I've started trying my hand at stand-up comedy. I've mostly been performing at parties in front of drunk and semi-friendly crowds, but I like enough to keep going with it. I'm sort of researching my options for open mics in and around PDX, although I realize that my city doesn't necessarily boast a thriving comedy community.
I'm here because I hear this forum referenced constantly in just about every podcast I listen to. Also, because this is American Internet and I like to exercise my freedoms!
That's it, there's nothing more. Thanks for not reading.
Hi. I might possibly be giving a shot to some sort of comedy-related adventure due to complete boredom with my station in life, an impending break-up of a long-term relationship, and just the general quarter-life crisis Sword of Damocles currently dangling like God's balls over my head. Not sure yet.
So, yeah, hi.
hello folks ... more sooner or later ...David
I've been lurking for awhile but I'm gonna start apostin' more often. I'm a graphics student from the great seat of the British empire, engel land.

Hi, my name is Alec and I am new to the board. I have been listening to the likes of the Comedy Death Ray, Never Not Funny and I Love Movies podcasts for a while. I recently moved from North Carolina to Los Angeles and used to live within walking distance of the UCB Theatre, so I go there all the time. I like the funny stuff. I smoke the funny stuff. Sometimes some things I say are funny. Usually, though, I am known for killing jokes. Like when you are at a party and everyone is riffing on a theme and laughing, I am the guy who says something really gross or inappropriate and just kills it. I kill laughter. It is not on purpose, I just don't know where the line is and when not to cross it. What I'm trying to say is that I am a bad person and I apologize in advance for anything that I post to this website.
Oh yeah, and I just shit my pants.
Hi. My name is Derek. Thanks for having me.
I write funny blogs for FreedomHaters.org using the names "Canaderek" and "Rev Neil Pudding".
I like British comedy and all but the shittiest of the great 70s/80s standup comics. More current material I've enjoyed would be that of Andy Kindler, Patton Oswalt, Louis CK and Lewis Black. I'd like to find some more recent stuff I like, but it's been slow going.
