this was my first venture outside of the ucb world, so I didn't know what to expect. Especially after passing through those cattle doors and down some basement stairs... but turns out beyond that, is a nice little venue. Soft cushy seats and an open stage. It was cozy... and after an hour, that cozy turned into a sweaty sauna pit of people.
Our host of the night, Dan Bialek.. he did a good job at keeping things moving between comics.
Kevin Christy talks about only getting retarded roles.

John Roy talks about jews
Mary Van Note talks about her crazy roommate... and her pretentious cursive handwriting.
Brian Keith Etheridge does his worst material, reading one liners he thought of earlier in the week.
Val Meyers puts together a song based on polaroids of audience members.
Rob Delaney.. he drives an aerostar and wears his backpack so us drunk audience members don't steal it.
"...I want to finger your roommate.."
Matt Dwyer gets a little distracted, and tries to hookup with an audience member's roommate.

As a whole, the show was great... love the concept, the venue, and the lineup of comedians. Wish I had gone last week. If none of this makes sense, it's because I'm half asleep while typing this.

also, unrelated to the show.. I saw this guy outside while eating dinner before the show...
I whip out my camera for a candid photo of Barney, when he notices. So pulls of his head only to reveal Joker.
definitely not what I expected underneath of that dinosaur head.
