Bob Odenkirk always seems to have at least one interesting thing going on, usually two or three. For example, thefutoncritic is reporting that Bob has been cast in the Rob Riggle CBS pilot Team Spitz: "He'll apparently play Charles Kersey, the 'nervous and flop-sweaty' principal of the school."
We asked Bob about the part, and here's what he had to say:
I've never read a role for a four-camera that let me be as funny as this one does. The writers, Bill Martin and Mike Schiff, have done a fantastic job - I can't go into specifics, I leave that to the network PR, but if you liked me in "The Story of Everest," you'll like my character here. I am also still working on a pilot for FX that I know Mr. Show fans will love, but that will be on hold until we see how the CBS show goes. Hopefully I'll figure out a way to do both if the Riggle show goes to series. I intend to have a lot of fun playing the part in Rob's show.See? That's two Bob TV project scoops for the price of one. Oh, and he'll be back in the third season of Breaking Bad later this month -- in fact, AMC saw fit to give his character Saul his own website! Check it out at bettercallsaul.com.
