SHOW, UPRIGHT CITIZENS BRIGADE and NEVER NOT FUNNY w/Jimmy Pardo. no lines to wait in, because the show doesn't start until 11:00!

last night's show was a fabulous time. for me anyway. the audience seemed to enjoy it too. first jimmy pardo came out and delighted us with footage from THE PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE (one man in the crowd walked out during this part, reportedly because he doesn't think anyone should make fun of his beloved PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE - how hilarious is that?), then we did an ILM podcast taping with guests paul scheer and matt walsh, then they showed clips from TEEN WOLF TOO and TROLL 2, respectively. this was followed by david huntsberger's selection of WOLF CREEK, scott aukerman's choice of SCREAM (original style!) and my clip, NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 2: FREDDY'S REVENGE, in which i was a hand double for one of the actors.*
join me next time for DRUG LOVES INTERRUPTING DOUG MOVIES at 9:30 on november 30. (and for a regular interruption on nov. 10 at 11:00!)

I went to the screening at the Nuart a while back (the cast & the director were there!) and it was one of the greatest nights of my life. Props to Matt Walsh for choosing to showcase a morsel of that fine piece of celluloid.
