Jason Nash and Laura Silverman on TV nightly

Jason Nash and Laura Silverman are co-hosting a video clip show from the makers of TMZ. Yet another in a string of recent shows using this format, "Beyond Twisted" is a nightly half-hour offering that finds Nash and Silverman putting their comedic spin on videos sent in from viewers and obtained from various other sources. I caught part of the second episode tonight, and while features such as "Blondes Can't Park" – where a woman is shown struggling to parallel park her car – aren't exactly destined to be considered comedic genius by ASTers, it's great to see Nash and Silverman featured so prominently and being funny on TV.

In many markets, the show will air immediately following TMZ. In Los Angeles, it's on FOX 11 at 7:00 pm. More information and video clips at BeyondTwisted.com.

It's weird that after the Patrice O'Neal show didn't work several years ago there are now three of these.

the instant feedback on the site is super negative about the new hosts.
Probably their opinions aren't really worth our time though. I mean, they are devoted fans of a clip show that follows TMZ.

I have not seen the show yet, but I'll be sure to check it out. I've never been a fan of shows with this format, but I do want to watch a half hour of Jason Nash, regardless of what format the show is.

yeah, you're right, that one was frighteningly mean, and unfunny. but I still was glad I saw it...but then again, I have watched beheading videos...

it's pretty wild...the show is not for everyone but I like seeing the clips and then
coming up with something funny to do with Laura, she's really good..
it's an eight week trial right now, we'll see if it goes...

Hey I want thank all you guys who wrote in with positive stuff to say
about Laura and I. Learn it, you are the man.

Despite the comments on the board, the show is doing well and the ratings
are much higher since we started. Maybe people are loving hating us.

And thanks to ILIS for doing the thread, we're trying our best to bring
subtle comedy in between people getting hit in the nuts...
