Just one question: is the story of the most hilarious name of all time on the album?
I support this record... but I don't like how Braunger seems to be daring me with intimidation to soak up the night.
This is our Thriller.
Garrett Gonzalez Morris (born February 1, 1937) is an American comedian and actor from New Orleans, Louisiana. He was part of the original cast of the sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live, appearing from 1975 to 1980
For the British flautist, see Gareth Morris.
Thanks for posting this, isoS!
And yes, it's on the album and called "The Two Funniest Names in Portland."
Can't wait for this album. Matt was hilarious opening up for Aziz Ansari tonite!
July 14th.
I will be downloading the fuck out of this.
it looks like you're daring eddie money to an arm-wrestling contest. winner buys blow and waffles for the other guy's road crew.
this is fantastic. well done.
If there's one thing I know about the Money Man's road crew, they put some serious damage on some waffles.
And yes, congratulations, Matt. Is the "Soak Up the Night" font an actual 70's rock album font, or just a font that strongly gives that impression?

this album cover is like a beautiful dream i hope to have some day.
Pre-ordered!
It'll make for a great Bastille Day gift.
Jesse Lee Stout, who's amazing at making 70s and 80s-ish stuff, made the font. He also made the lights stretch out like you're looking at it drunk.
Oh, and AST's own Steve Agee took the picture of me looking ridiculous. Hopefully people realize that's the idea and not that I think I'm cool in the least. I basically wanted it to have that old album look to go with the dumb rock title.
Also, that pre-order thing doesn't do the cover justice. I'll post the whole thing if someone'll tell me how. I'm fucking useless on here.
