I have a question: Why didn't you write a book? Are you too stupid or something?

I read your wife's article about ironic ads. This one in particular is like rain on your wedding day:

I have just been informed that Ad Nauseam is going to be entering its second printing this month. Thanks to anyone who purchased it. For those that didn't, the good news is that you still can.

First, is this book available in actual bookstores such as Barnes and Nobles (not fictional bookstores like Chip Chop's)
And secondly, "In his opening salvo in the mental war against the paradoxes of late capitalism, George W. S. Trow proposed...zZzZzZzzz..."
1) Barnes and Nobles is also fictional. The bookstore that exists is called Barnes & Noble. However, if you look in the real bookstore it should be available and you don't have to give your credit card to the internet if that scares you. It doesn't have any zombie in it or celebrity authors, though, so it is possible that your local branch sold the five copies that they preordered.
2) I hope you stuck through the Lethem blurb. If you did you were rewarded with the Easter Egg of a blurb from AST-Approved comedian Patton Oswalt, who we tried to send a final copy to, but our post-publication email got lost in the ether.
Patton, if you're out there, we'd like to send you a book.
3) My wife is not an asshole. Opposites attract.
