NBC is so fucking dumb. Now you piss off Conan and Leno's audience has already been fractured. They aren't all going to come back.
Also, Jay Leno is a fucking asshole. Quit already. You said you were done, you can't ask for your ball back a few months later. It hasn't even been a year, why the fuck did he walk away from the show in the first place?
Also, I work for an NBC affiliate. The Jay Leno show has fucked us so hard. It's basically the worst lead in this station has ever had... We had a focus group on Monday and a room full of people, even after being led for about 2 minutes, could answer the question "What is on NBC before the news"

To be fair, TMZ is the only site so far that's reporting on this supposed switch for Leno back to 11:30. Considering how insane it sounds, I think we should be hesitant on believing it just yet. Let's not go crazy because of something TMZ reported. Because after all, they're fucking TMZ.

NBC executives held discussions with both Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien Thursday about the future of the network’s late-night lineup. And while executives said that no final decision has been made, they did not deny that the network is considering moves that could include returning Mr. Leno to his old job as host of “The Tonight Show.”
NBC executives said a decision would definitely not be announced Thursday but did not deny a report posted by the website TMZ that NBC was considering making the switch and replacing Mr. O’Brien at “Tonight” with Mr. Leno.

Do you really think that any executives at any network care at all about the people that work for them and their families?
They have to do something with Leno. How it might affect Conan is up for debate, or speculation, but the Leno experiment has been a disaster. Hopefully NBC sucks it up and lets Leno go his own way.
