That's 'cause no one saw Tank Girl....BOOM! (that was for Graham)
The podcast continues to roll along great, Doug! Too bad (well, not really) about the Kathleen Turner category, but please keep the "10 years ago today" one. That's the best!
Yeah, I thought Thunder Road was a movie. But I like the rule where the namer has to know something about the movie they're naming!
I do think those are the top 5 myself, but PFT, Scott, and Samm aren't just good at naming movies, they can go negative names, which isn't easy.
Really late to the game on this one, but, yeah, the one with Bill Simmons was a very nice (and welcome!) surprise. Especially since it had Simmons (listen to his podcasts from time to time), the very...
Just listened to (I actually typed "watched" at first, good thing I caught myself!) Tournament of Championships, Part Deux...Awesome! I think those 3 are the best 3 players of the game!
Brian Posehn, too. He's one of my faves.
Huh, was sure it was late 86. Thanks!
Oh, wow, that 12 guests show was incredible! That double-1964 thing is common I think when a movie comes out late in the year. LETHAL WEAPON came out around Christmas 1986, but I see it listed a lot...
Why am I not surprised?...In fairness, I agree with him about part 2 being "joyless". But part 3 better than part 1? Poppycock!
As long as he doesn't bring up that his favorite James Bond movie is the one with George Lazenby again!
Yeah, I remember that show WHOOPS. Everyone had a streak in their hair, right...from the fallout? You've just been out-nerded!
Amazing podcast with Hardwick, Mira, and Ray. Can't believe that strategy during the Maltin game...Veddy interesting!
Oh, that Texas episode was great. Nice change of pace...sounded like they were in the Superdome!
That ain't settling, Doug....Do it!
That Elisabeth Shue podcast was awesome. This is the first one that I wish that I could actually SEE (for obvious reasons).
Oh, this part is great. That was tense with Aukerman having to guess the correct order of the 2 stars in FACE-OFF! Also, now if you have to name a Lithgow movie in negative names, you can't get away...
Maltin would be a great guest (again). Ask him why he gave COLLATERAL only 2 1/2 stars! I personally would like to know because I think that's a great movie. I know you don't, though, Doug.
Yeah, I like the dissent, too, but also I agree with Mr. Posehn that IB is not a good movie! After seeing it, I could relate to his dislike of it, more so than listening to a film critic. The movie...
It was the word long that did my idea in, wasn't it?
I wonder if there was a way the odd "man" out, when the score is tied 1-1-1 could continue to play. The player that didn't get to participate in that round would just compete against the "winner" of...
It...weren't you listening?
The Proops-Kirkman-Kinane podcast had me HOWLING throughout! Proops was his usual witty self, Kirkman came in and energized things, and Kinane had the perfect amount of low-key humor. The new best of...
Doug, great 3rd round of the champions tourney with Oswalt, Scott, Lindhome. Lithgow movies are hard. The show's getting more and more like JEOPARDY every ep!
P.S. You still have a better sense...
