Mr Universe by Jim Gaffigan is $5 on his website. And I know he's probably not a beloved comic around here, but Ron White's last special A Little Unprofessional is also a $5 download from his website.

I think The Dana Gould Hour is the most consistently great podcast out there. It's the only show where I consistenly re-listen to episodes and still laugh the second time through.
The Dead Possum episode is also free on Amazon and iTunes for those who are interested.
It only got weird there at the very end when Maron asked the snarky question. You can't hear Franco's reaction so I don't know what happened, but you can definitely hear Maron freak out a little bit.
100% agree. I've just fallen hard for WTR in the past few months, so it sucks that it seems to be ending right when I'm on board. More than anything, though, I hope Greg is OK. He seems like a nice...
I only know Regan Burns from his role in God Bless America, so it's a relief to see that he's both personable and funny.
Good call on One, Two, Three. Love that one.
I genuinely love both Bill and Ted movies, but I'm not sure if they count as underappreciated.
This sounds like it might be worth a listen. I'm hoping it can replace The Todd Glass Show, which I had to stop listening to because the "serious" discussions (i.e. the same serious discussion over...
It didn't ruin the movie for me or anything, but it certainly pulled me out of the movie way more than any of the other curious casting decisions he's made in the past or in this movie. It just seems...
No idea why Tarantino gave himself a role in Django Unchained. It's such a small role, but it could've gone to a deserving actor.
Agreed with the love of this movie and this specific scene, especially when the mom asks Danny Aiello "So where are you gonna dump her body?" right in front of Mia Farrow.
Also, I haven't watched...
I haven't watched it in awhile, but I loved UHF as a kid.
And maybe not strictly a comedy, but I always thought Beautiful Girls was a really good movie that nobody ever talks about.
I've never played D&D but I've enjoyed the ongoing game that is a part of the Harmontown podcast. I don't know how it will compare to this one.
Don't listen to the J Mascis one.
I've enjoyed all four episodes to this point, but Episode 4 is my favorite by far.
My favorite live episode is still the Boston one.
The very informative (and number-centric) Nate Silver blog has Obama's chance of winning FL at 68%, which translates to "Lean Obama."
Interesting stuff here:

Anderson's movies are a strange thing for me. I don't really consider myself a fan of his work, but I see every movie when it comes out. There's no denying his talent as a visual filmmaker, but I...
"He'll be back, like the shit Terminator" made me laugh at an indecent volume.
How is it that this show is just now getting around to using "Crystal Blue Persuasion" as the backing music for a meth-cooking montage?
I had no idea who this guy was before I bought it, but this is GREAT. Everybody should buy one.
I'm completely unfamiliar with his standup but I will buy this. I kinda can't lose for $5.
If I try to download the episode right when it's released, it's pretty slow. If I wait until later that evening when I get home from work, the download is fairly quick (~3 minutes or so). I think it...
Watched the first three episodes of Enjoy It! and I can't wait to watch the rest. Great and really moving. I have to say that Chelsea Handler came across as really unlikeable in this. I'm not a hater...
I haven't watched the first two, but the Brian Regan one is great. I'm so glad when he pops up in anything.
