Re: Tonight: Rifftrax Live!: "Birdemic" in theaters

Wow...."Birdemic" was HORRIBLE. It might be the worst movie they've ever done, even beating out "Manos" and "The Room". The entire movie looked like it was shot alternately on someone's home video or cell phone camera, the sound seemed to drop out between every other line, the music was loud and inappropriate, and the "special effects" were laughable. The lead actor made Channing Tatum look vibrant and charismatic by comparison ("Soluh panuls") It was incredible how the writer/director tried to shove his eco-friendly/anti-global warning agenda into nearly every scene. I find it hard to believe he actually thought he was trying to make a serious movie.

I guess the best thing about the movie was the "Victoria's Secret model" who was in the cast (whose mother's reaction to her signing with one of the biggest modeling companies in the world is 'Wow, great, honey'), but even she quickly becomes annoying. It made for a hilarious Rifftrax though. I think this is probably the most I've laughed at any Rifftrax Live! so far. The short beforehand ("Norman Checks In") was great too.

The only thing was that my theater screwed up and started playing the "Manos" Rifftrax again at first, so I missed all the funny slides beforehand this time. Were there any good ones?
