Tonight, the cable channel FX introduces its brand new Thursday night line-up for summer, with two returning comedy series joined by two newcomers. First at 9 PM is the premiere of "Anger Management", a new sitcom starring Charlie Sheen as a baseball player with anger issues turned anger management therapist. The sitcom is executive produced by veteran sitcom producer Bruce Helford ("The Drew Carey Show", "Norm").

Then, at 10 is the Season 2 premiere of "Wilfred", the acclaimed hit comedy starring Elijah Wood and Jason Gann about a young man (Wood) struggling unsuccessfully to make his way in the world until he forms a unique friendship with Wilfred, his neighbor's pet dog (Gann). At 10:30, the Season 3 premiere of "Louie", starring actor/comedian Louis CK. The single-camera comedy, shot in New York, was called the best show on television by "Time" magazine in 2011.

At 11 PM is the premiere of a new talk show, "Brand X With Russell Brand". The series will feature Brand's unvarnished and unfiltered point of view on current events, worldwide politics and popular culture. Taking on the news of the day like no one else, Brand will use his unconventional sensibility, spirituality, humor and status as a recently transplanted Englishman to get to the bottom of what the news really means. The series was executive produced and directed by Troy Miller ("Mr. Show with Bob and David").
