Three AST-approved shows out on DVD today

Today is a pretty big day, DVD release-wise, with three AST favorites all coming out today. "The Office: Season 5" is another jam-packed release for the series, with over seven hours of bonus features included on the set. Extras include commentaries on 10 episodes, over three hours of deleted scenes, and the webisodes "Kevin's Loan" and "The Outburst" (The "Blackmail" webisodes are scheduled to be included on the Season 6 set).









"Parks and Recreation: Season One" also contains commentary from pretty much everyone in the cast, with the unfortunate exceptions of Aziz Ansari and Aubrey Plaza. The set also contains the usual assortment of deleted scenes and an extended "producer's cut" of the "Rock Show" episode.












Finally, "Important Things with Demetri Martin" also gets a first-season release today. The set also contains commentary and an assortment of outtakes from pieces from the show such as "Parking Wars" and "Dinner With Heroes".

Why, which one don't you like?

That's a separate discussion (but if you really want to know, check my signature), but I was talking more about how occasionally people will complain that AST has "groupthink" and that people are
only "allowed" to like certain things, and then everyone else gets up in arms about how that's not true and that this is a place for "discussing" comedy where a diversity of opinions is allowed.

Also the phrase "AST-approved" seems to confer on this website a level of power and influence that I'm not sure it has.

Oh, I know, the headline's semi-tongue in cheek. These are just 3 shows that have been talked about a lot here and most people seem to like.
I mean, we don't have a lot of discussion about "According to Jim" or "Til Death" here.
