Steve Agee and Rob Schrab developing a show for FX

    From Deadline:

FX has put into development an untitled coming-of-age comedy from Shine America and Jack Black‘s production company Electric Dynamite. Steve Agee ("The Sarah Silverman Program") and Rob Schrab ("Children’s Hospital") are co-writing the project, which is said to be tonally similar to cult favorite "Freaks And Geeks". It is based on Agee’s childhood experiences at a military academy in the 1980s. As of now, the deal with FX is only a script commitment, not a pilot or series commitment, but we will keep you updated as this project develops.

This sounds all kinds of great and interesting. I always liked the parts of Malcolm in the Middle when Francis was at Military School.

Hey, FX- you seem to be in the "good TV" business. Why not drop a few reruns of Two and a Half Men or whatever off the schedule and put whatever this turns into on instead? Thanks.
