Look, I'll be honest: I'm not very good at this whole "news" thing. I don't know how to "chase a lead" or "get to the source" or "stop the presses." So I'm just going to copy and paste what comedian Louis C.K. tweeted a couple of hours ago. You decide what it means, and how it might affect your life.

I'd say it was closer to 50, but I have no idea how to estimate that type of thing.

It was a pretty intimate setting, and although we had to stand out in the rain and then wait inside for about 90 minutes total, Louis was cool enough to entertain us with stories about how he was so horrible during the shooting of "Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins" that they cut out most of his expository scenes to the detriment of any sense the movie might have made.

The show is gonna be called "Bee Funny" and we had to all have a beard of bees for most of it.

Then he went up and did about, I don't know, twenty-five, thirty minutes of new material split up into three or four takes. It was all really funny, some observational material about airplanes and cars including a phrase I loved - "standing slopey" - some stuff about being evil and another big chunk about being single, taking care of his kids and volunteering at their school. It was all very funny, I enjoyed it very much. I hope the show goes.

Was there any explanation of what this show would be? All stand-up? Stand-up + something else? Structure? Who else is involved? Who it might be for?

oh. i was just making a 'Bee Movie' joke. and then i thought i heard the 75 person audience thing somewhere but couldn't find it when i looked later. i have nothing to do with this at all. and thats the scoop.

Sounds like an strange concept for a pilot, although I don't know 100% what the whole concept is. I'm confused about the beard of bees. But I am glad that Louis CK is getting another opportunity for a show.

And for the record, I liked the Bee Movie joke.
