Season 2 of Delocated to Bring Super-Sized Episodes

Series co-star Eugene Mirman sent an email yesterday reporting that the recently renewed Jon Glaser comedy "Delocated" will return with half-hour episodes rather than the 15-minute time slots it occupied in season one. This may be a growing trend on Adult Swim, as Metalocalypse is reportedly moving to the half-hour format as well. No additional information about the production schedule or air dates is known at this time.

What do you think about Adult Swim tinkering with the format? Is more better, or were these shows perfect as is?

I really think Metalocalypse was really good for the 15-minute, I'm very nervous to see bump up. Also, with new bump how many more lives is this going to cost us?

Nobody said it yet, but I think it's perfect for Delocated. I moaned the entire first season that I needed larger doses, now I'm getting my just-desserts.

I think it'll work very well for Delocated and for Metalocalypse as i've mentioned in another thread I believe they're both a little too plot heavy to get everything out of the way in the 15 minutes. Now it TGTTM or Tim and Eric or Aqua Teen or Squidbillies was moving up to 30 minutes i'd be worried but the two selected shows seem like logical choices to me.

Casting for season two officially began today. Shooting begins in mid September. Two new main characters are added, including Yvgeny's brother.

Season Two-PART TWO (eps 207-212) began casting today That must mean the network liked what they saw in the unaired 6 episodes and asked for more! Looonger season. Sexy. Anyone know when season two airs???
