From the Seven Second Delay site: Seven Second Delay returns to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Manhattan for a live broadcast comedy and variety hour this Wednesday, July 29th from 6-7pm. Joining Ken and Andy will be veteran Saturday Night Live writer Jim Downey, comedian Aldo Marachlian, musical guest The Rhodes and one of the stars of the Steven Spielberg film War of the Worlds, whose name we are contractually prohibited from announcing prior to the show. UCB Theater is located at 307 West 26th Street in Manhattan, near the corner of 8th Avenue. Admission is $5, but if you save your receipt, the admission fee will be refunded to you at the end of your life.
Why is this newsworthy? Because Jim Downey, longtime SNL writer, so rarely does interviews, nor live public appearances, so this is something worth paying attention to. New Yorkers can, and should, go here to make a reservation. Seven Second Delay airs live on WFMU at 6-7 pm EST every Wednesday.
