Louis CK's most recent stand-up special, "Hilarious", premieres tonight on Comedy Central at 10 PM EST. Recorded in April 2009, the special was the first stand-up comedy film to be accepted into the Sundance film festival, and also aired on the Epix cable channel earlier this year.
If you prefer your comedy complete and unedited, the special will be coming out on audio CD and DVD on Tuesday, January 11th. The CD is currently available for pre-order on Itunes.
I'm disappointed that it's not being rebroadcast after midnight in the "Secret Stash." I think I can wait a few days to watch it unedited. But I know a woman in my building who's a Nielsen viewer, so I'll ask her to watch.

I think it's ironic how they'll allow him to say "shit" but they bleep out "drink"..the blood.
They bleep out the word "midget" on that channel too. Completely ridiculous. I can hear about old balls that look like they're being air-lifted by a helicopter, but not the word "midget". Still, I'm glad they show Louie's stuff so that not just those with HBO or Showtime can get a taste. Also...If anyone wants to watch his 2001 special it's on comcast OnDemand.
Edit: Even with the editing and commercials and shorter format, it still ruled.
