If you're on AST, you probably know Dan Telfer as the guy who posts passionately on the topics of comedy, video games and LOST, but if you are a resident of the Chicago area you may know him best as an up-and-coming talent on the stand-up scene. Dan has opened for the likes of Paul F. Tompkins, Marc Maron, Janeane Garofalo and Maria Bamford, and this morning he was a guest on the syndicated radio show Bob & Tom. What's that? You missed it? Well, he will also be on their WGN America TV show tonight [check your local listings here].

I'm told they swapped episodes last night, and "my" preview has reappeared. So... I might actually be on the TV show tonight. Or maybe I was on Monday and I missed it. Watch tonight and see!

Bob and Tom and the rest of the happy homophobe crew? Not so much.

I loved it when you went out of your way to say 'homosexual slur' so as not to come across like a jackass, to which they responded by yelling 'Queer' for 5 minutes.

Also great is that the sports guy's entire bit seems to be, "Wouldn't it be crazy if I was a gay?"

Again, you were great, but Bob and Tom are pretty intolerable.

Online audio is available only through the paid VIP area of the site. They occaisonally post video on YouTube, but usually only stuff with famous types. We'll see! They might be sending me the raw video footage so I can post it myself.

So since I am not nearly famous enough to warrant my own Comedy Forum thread, and since I was lucky enough to have this thread (with people posting in it no less!) I thought I would let you guys know that I will be returning to The Bob and Tom Show on Friday, August 14th. Please tune in if it's in your area! Or tell people! Or both! I promise to be called a queer upwards of six times.
