Living End to ATHF Season

"Aqua Teen Hunger Force" will be airing with an added dimension, for a total of three, this Sunday in its normal Adult Swim timeslot. The show will be wrapping its season with a special live-action finale at 11:45 p.m. Jon Benjamin will essay the role of Master Shake, a fresh-off-the-boat T-Pain will play Frylock, a rubber ball will fill in for Meatwad and next-door neighbor Carl will be played by contest winner Dave Long.

Keith Phipps provides the lowdown on the "controversial" episode over at the Onion's AV Club. (The show is titled Last Last One Forever and Ever, but Phipps says the show has been renewed.)

Hard to imagine Shake without Dana Snyder's voice but anytime we get to see Jon Benjamin, I get excited.

Anyone else watch this? I haven't seen ATHF in a long time, but I thought it was a pretty interesting episode (and "interesting" more than "funny"). I also thought the little dialogue between Lazzo and Willis afterward was semi-interesting, if also kind of contrived.
