Recorded live this spring at Nerdist Theater at Meltdown Comics, "Poems About The Ocean" showcases Hamilton's signature misanthropic and intellectual wit, while tossing in a healthy amount of brutally clever puns for good measure.

A longtime favorite of those in the know, Jim Hamilton started stand-up comedy while a student at the University of Wisconsin before moving to Austin where he was a finalist in the Funniest Person in Austin competition four years running. After appearing on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, Jim headed to the West Coast where he is a favorite in the LA alternative comedy scene as a regular performer on Comedy Bang! Bang! and The Meltdown.
