Tig Notaro is taping a pilot at the ACME Comedy Theater on Monday, March 7th and would like it very much if you were there. Whether or not you can make it, Jon Hamm, Rich Sommer, Mark Moses, Randee Heller and Jared Harris of Mad Men will be her guests. So, yeah -- you want to be at this thing. Here's a description:

The show will open with a brief monologue from Tig, then each guest will reveal a hidden talent, followed by a ridiculous group interview, and then the show will wrap up with Tig running around the audience conducting an explosively fun and interactive Q & A.

Got my "sorry, we're sold out" notice late last night for this event. Luckily I already had tixkets for Lennon/Garant at Cinefamily for CDR's movie Monday.

The taping was quite the success! Mad Men did a phenomenal job and Tig fell into the role of talk show host seamlessly. Congrats to Tig and Sarah!

Has Comedy Central picked this up for series? Because if not - I'd hate to see this pilot - with the amazing cast from Mad Men - never see the light of day.

I didn't go, but it must have been a great night.
