Have there been any complaints from vegans about your exploitation of that mythical turtle? I hope for your sake you didn't try to milk it.
DaggerofChrist unmasked
I think vegans would forgive me, seeing as how I am at least a vegetarian and know what the animal is called.
College Girls is a Channel 4 documentary series, first transmitted in the UK from 8 September 2002. The documentary followed the lives of six students who studied at St Hilda's College, Oxford, the last remaining single-sex college at the University of Oxford, between 1998 and 2001.
The mods deleted it and now it looks like I'm doing the weird spamming. There's egg on my face! Anyways cool poster Dan! Youdaman!
Have there been any complaints from linguists about your exploitation of the word "tour"? I hope for your sake you aren't walking from venue to venue.
No, just the usual message board snark. Most people understand I'm peaking and this is the closest I'll get.
Are there any ASTers in New Orleans? It would be awesome to meet you. My show tonight is at 8140 Willow Street. They call it an open mic but it's booked and I'm told I'll get to do a longer set than the other comics. That is super generous given that I am essentially not famous. I would love to meet anyone who may live in this area. It might be a while before I'm well known enough to book another show here.
Thanks for putting up with this thread, effete comedy nerds.
Thanks, Nick! So far so awesome!
The shows in Memphis (I crashed an open mic that let me go long) and New Orleans were a lot of fun last week. Next week: Austin and on Friday I'm performing at the Fake Gallery in Los Angeles in a callback for the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival!
Also, in case anyone cares, I will likely be headlining the Wilmette Theater (10 minutes north of Chicago) and Athens, GA in June. And I'm definitely headlining the Comedy Attic in Bloomington, IN at the end of June. More dates for my pretend little tour! Whee!
The 40 Watt indeed. Here's an updated poster:

Cool! Did you make the shows with Patton?
It might be worth mentioning that with the exception of the LA show, I am headlining all those dates.
I didn't get to Patton's show unfortunately. It's hard for me to get to Athens in a timely manner after work and I didn't hear about his show until it was too late for me to juggle things around. Almost every show I see is at the Laughing Skull since it's so easy for me to get to.
Do you know who's going to open for you?
Of course! The legendary booking success of the Laughing Skull!
Opening for me at the 40 Watt is TJ Young, Chris Patton, Natalie Glaser, Matt Gilbert, and Luke Fields. It's a part of Athfest, hence letting a bunch of local folks in.
