I do as well. That sounds amazing.

Also, the Delocated show sounds too good to be true. I might just have to go this year.

Looking at the complete SF Sketchfest Dozen roster gives me the most pleasurable of aneurysms.

What a crazy, crazy packed schedule.

Fucking unemployment. Heather and I had plans on coming out to the fest this year, but it's just not going to happen.

Dan, I'm not going to lie. When I saw your name on the list, I squeaked.

I am so excited about the line up. Last year, I missed a lot due to being dumb. This year, I'm not making the same mistake. My husband is not going to want to go to everything that I want to see. If anyone would like to be Sketchfest buddies for some of these shows, I clean up well and don't get too embarrassingly drunk.

Oh, don't think I'm not waking up early on Sunday to get the tickets that I want . . . need? . . . want. There also may or may not be a spreadsheet involved but that's because my man can get crazy organized. I like to forget what day it is sometimes to keep my life interesting. Opposites attract!

    Here's my Sophie's Decision...

The Delocated Variety show and the only performance of Brett Gelman:Human Garbage are both 10:30 on the opening Saturday.

This may come down to a coin toss.

... well, as much as I love Gelman, I say Delocated. Only because he sometimes performs Human Garbage at UCB.

I'm pretty sure it's worth the ticket to fly up just for the True Stories/David Byrne thing. I think whatever he has to say about that movie/music 25 years later is going to be very interesting.

I'm genuinely happy to see the inclusion of Murphy Brown at the festival. That show is still one of my all time favorites and it's a shame it's been so forgotten about.

I'm changing/cancelling already-paid-for other plans to attend again this year, and am now trying to see if I can go for two weekends. Sorry, Sundance, you lose.

Re: EXCLUSIVE! 10th Annual SF Sketchfest lineup revealed

Ahhh so for my first post on AST in the longest of times, because I'm very bad at keeping up at any kind of message board site, I have to calmly state my unspeakable excitement about the Viva Variety show (come on people, mention this!)... to which I had a decidedly non-calm reaction when I first saw it on the lineup. Just... who would have thought that would ever happen? Viva Variety? Amazing. And Never not Funny is that day too, so I will have to get the money to go to this year. I said it last time, and then no dice, and I am still caused horrendous emotional pain when I think about not having been able to go to the State reunion (oh God). But this year, it has to happen. Also, I have to say, I'm confused about the 'Whose Live' shows being at the Fest, as I was under the impression- maybe from hearing Tim & Eric talk about it?- that the comedy nerd community didn't like Whose Line (I always did!). But whatevs, that's awesome. Also, SNL legends, yay!
    Here comes a dunk.
