EP 3-Pak feat. Tompkins, Telfer & Proops now orderable! (out June 1st)

The day has come: you can now pre-order the EP 3-pak to end all EP 3-paks! Paul F. Tompkins, Greg Proops and Dan Telfer are teaming up in compact disc form to make you laugh for over 70 minutes. Each CD comes in its own lovingly-crafted eco-wallet, but you pay one low price for the whole she-bang ($15). This is the ONLY PLACE to get the legendary "late show riffs" from the night of Paul F.'s "Freak Wharf" recording -- it won't be on iTunes, it won't be on Amazon; it's only right here, in the AST Records EP 3-pak.

Speaking of the "Freak Wharf" recording, Dan Telfer, a rising Chicago-based comic, opened for Paul that very night, and his set went so well we decided to put it out -- you know, for you to hear. That's what "Fossil Record" is. We're thrilled to present Dan's debut release, and I suspect it will leave you all clamoring for more.

"Proops Digs In!" is a 36-minute tour de force from a master improviser and noted snarketarian. Recorded at the Little Room at Largo on the night of Greg's "Elsewhere" release party, "Proops Digs In!" finds him at his loosest, and possibly his filthiest. Learn Greg's answer to TV's "Cougertown," his almighty disdain for Christian Audigier and his inspired vision of a stage play pitting James Bond against Wolverine. Oh, and he also gives that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the business.

You already know what the Tompkins CD has in store -- another 15 minutes of riffing in the style of "Freak Wharf's" opening stanzas -- but there's some bonus material to be found there as well (the EP's title is a hint). So I guess what I'm saying is, if you don't order this collection, you're an idiot. Go get it. Now.
