The first season of Chris Elliott's Adult Swim series "Eagleheart" arrives on DVD today, featuring deleted and extended scenes, commentary tracks on all 12 episodes, and footage from a New York Comic-Con panel with the stars and producers of the series.
"Eagleheart" follows US Marshall Chris Monsanto (Elliott) as he fights crime with his two partners: the slow-witted Brett (Brett Gelman) and by-the-book Susie (Maria Thayer). On a given day, Monsanto may battle a pair of evil twin gubernatorial candidates, surgically alter his appearance to investigate a string of elderly kidnappings, track missing mountain lions to the center of the earth, or punch people so hard they explode. Eagleheart parodies many cop shows, most notably "Walker, Texas Ranger", but each episode is non-canonical and there is no ongoing storyline.
The second season of the show premieres April 12th on Adult Swim.
