The Sunday L.A. Times featured an interview with David Cross this past weekend, and while there weren't any big revelations, there were plenty of updates on the various projects he has in the works. First, his book "I Drink For a Reason" is coming out August 31st (look for a preview/review here at some point prior to that date), and is described by Cross as "a collection of humor tidbits. Some of it's fictional, some nonfiction, some essays, some really silly [stuff]." Hooray for silly!
"The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret," the pilot David made for Channel 4 (UK), will apparently air in December. Two years in the works, the show co-stars Will Arnett and Spike Jonze. No word on plans to bring it Stateside, or produce more episodes (at least not in this interview).
Also, there's a new Adult Swim series in the works from Cross and Jon Benjamin. The two previously teamed up on Comedy Central's "Freak Show."
Oh, and Mr. Cross is in "Year One," which comes out Friday. There, now you don't have to read this!
