Best Week Ever with Paul F. Tompkins' Future Uncertain

It's looking like the run of "Best Week Ever with Paul F. Tompkins" might be at an end. Here's what we know: the show was originally set to wrap up for the summer at the end of July, but the date of the last show of the season was moved to this Friday, June 12th. Rather than returning in the fall as planned, VH1 has decided, due to "budgetary concerns," that the show would not return until 2010, although its companion piece "Best Day Ever" will return this fall according to VH1. The last "Best Week Ever with Paul F. Tompkins" of 2009 airs this Friday, June 12th. The status of the show beyond that is uncertain.

If PFT couldn't save this, no one could.

It's all part of the unpredictability in this business of show.

So sad. But maybe now PFT could find his way back to LA?

This sucks, the show.. while not amazing, was consistently entertaining which is much more then most shows can say. And Paul F went through the whole rigamarole of moving and made such a ceremony of it can he even come back?

As long as he has a signed accord from the Mayor of Television.

If he gets his deposit back from Rigamarole, maybe he can use a different moving company for the trip back...

How did he 'make such a ceremony of it'? You mean when he announced it to his friends and the network issued a press release? Rub our noses in it why don't you...
Hey, check me out. I'm a ghost.
