    West coast comedy spots?

Hey all! I'm finally able to get out of LA and do a road trip to hit up shows and open mics on the west coast from mid April to whenever. I have 10 minutes that I'm really happy with but don't know the first thing about getting a spot in another city.

Below are the cities I'm planning on driving through (if there are others I'm down to perform anywhere).

Date range: April 14th - however long I can go.

    Cities:
    Bakersfield CA.
    Fresno CA.
    San Jose CA.
San Francisco CA. or Oakland CA.
    Sacramento CA.
    Chico CA.
    Redding CA.
    Medford OR.
Any city in between Medford and Eugene.
    Eugene OR.
    Corvallis OR.
    Salem OR.
    Portland OR.
    Longview WA.
    Olympia WA.
    Seattle WA.

If anyone has any info or advice I would be eternally grateful if you could either post here, send me a PM, or to my email at sstignei[at]yahoo.com . Thanks in advance!

Everybody wins. Or, at least, everybody loses equally.

    Edit*

After seeing all the shows and open mics in SF I may just end up staying there for a few weeks.

One San Francisco comic recently did nine sets on a Tuesday night. One of the sets took place at Amateur Night at a tranny bar, but he did it.

He also knew just about every emcee and person running the shows, but with a little gumption you could do 3 or 4 on an ambitious run. But there are also quite a few really funny people around here and it would almost be a shame to visit and not watch a few sets. Just sayin'.

Those of us a little further north are waiting for this online lovefest w/SF's (admittedly wonderful) comedy scene to die down a bit before offering you any advice.

We'll just take the fact that this was too long and that you didn't read it...as read.

Dang I was hoping to just hang out at Bridgetown and try to weasel in a spot . But that's probably what a lot of other comics are thinking too.
