Okay, since I'm moving I FINALLY got my video guy to get my my videos. And I'm not getting the embedded links to work, SO
This is from November of last year:
This is from September of this year:
Gimme critiques, but realize that the November of last year show...well, a lot has been fixed. Tell me which jokes you like and don't like. Share with your friends. Look at me, I know how to use social networking to advertise myself (I do not).
Eyes are the losers in the skies.
I really liked the mental image you created of a kitten sorting through it's weed.
Edit:
I liked the more conversational stuff that followed the written piece. But I might have enjoyed the written thing more if you flipped it, and did the natural stuff that gave me an idea of who you were first before you adopted the "This is me reading" voice. There's a shift in tone there, I think, and I'd be more interested in your essay about your jobs if I knew more about who was writing it. Hope that makes sense. I enjoyed it a lot, though.

Well Mike, try this one on for size. It's called Basketball Trash Talk Fail:

I was travelling in NYC and decided to try out some of my English material over there. It should be obvious from the video that English is not my first language (I'm Finnish), but I'll state it out loud here.

Any comments and criticism is appreciated.
New set of stuff at the University Comedy Show.

Did this set last night. I tried out some new stuff. Mostly tags. I need to get more comfortable with the new stuff and rewrite some of it. Grateful for all suggestions. Thanks!

It took me a while to get this tape, so this is from October. The headliner was running late so I was encouraged to go long, and I did. Most time I've ever done. I like this room a lot because I'm able to calm down and say exactly what I want to say. The first two jokes are pretty Auburn, Alabama-centric, (one is about how a beloved former dean's name didn't get transferred to the new student center as he was promised) but the rest should be fine.
EDIT: Gone, gone.
Tell me what you do and don't like, especially CarolinEAnd, if you want to get back at me and pick at me for how I do things.

(This isn't CJ. This is Kevin Lee signing in under the wrong account on CJ's computer)
Here's a short video I made based on a joke I do on stage.

And here's a more strait forward sketch I did with Michael Sanchez for a show at Second City called "Everybody's Haunted"

A recent set that I enjoyed doing.
Liked the three joke, Brian, as well as the taint segue. Was there a baby coughing in there?

Did a set at a comedy showcase, after some POET yelled at my friend for talking during his spoken word performance. Did an established set then tried to break the fourth wall and make fun of things in comedy and then just riffed completely. Definitely would appreciate comments especially compliments because being called Jackie Chan by every comedian that performed after me when they were bombing was fucking great.

fuck them guys calling you that. I liked your set. I would just say the same thing I tell myself; keep writing
I'm just a open miker but here's my thoughts
I think you should definitely clear the mic stand then you started shaking it towards the 5 minute mark but generally you leave it alone so I don't think you need it.
Loved the tag you put on the Honk if you love Jesus joke. And that quick riff about 200 dollar bills was great. You do say "um" and "like" a few times but I don't care. I'm really impressed at how you can hold the crowds attention with the long setups and then deliver with the punchlines very confidently.
The venue looks cool I just wish they put in some bigger books on the window so I wouldn't have to see so many people passing through during your performance.
This thread is going along pretty well.
Thanks to Cool Band for creating this thread and then just using it to advertise his videos.
