Portable stage lights?

Hi. I'm trying to set up shows in places that don't have ideal stage lights, I was wondering if there was a low cost solution to this, like some sort of portable spotlight? Thanks in advance!

Just get a couple $5 clamp lights from a hardware store.

If you've got a little extra money to spend (what aspiring comic doesn't?) and don't want to just go the clamp light route, sites like Musician's Friend have a variety of lighting options.

But yeah; if it's a smallish venue then a couple of decent clamp lights can do wonders.
