Not sure this will help at all, but thought we could list some of what we'd like to see at Sketchfest next year.

Not sure this will help at all, but thought we could list some of what we'd like to see at Sketchfest next year.
First and foremost:
THE IDIOTS with Craig Anton and Ron Lynch
TOTALLY J/K with Joe Mande and Noah Garfinkel
(Especially since they currently have no place to do their show).
Honestly, Sketchfest has been so well booked in recent years that I just assume they're going to have great acts I'd want to see. I was pretty blown away by last year's schedule.
I do love the Idiots, though.
Something like RYT or even NNF live would be really cool too. I'd also like to see more LA stand-up. The CDR show was amazing, but it would be great to also have a more "showcase-y" show with LA comics, similar to SYNT. Wow, all those anagrams make me feel like a complete nerd.
Jen Kirkman and Morgan Murphy's show.
Oh, those are some good ones.
Also, I would love to see Fred Armisen and Variety Shac.
-Motherf*ckin Fabrice Fabrice!!!
-A Viva Variety reunion.
-Q & A with the cast of The Young Ones
-Matt and Ben with Mindy Kaling
Make it happen Sketchfest. You haven't let me down yet!!
ooh, scammy's fabrice request (which is obviously seconded) reminds me:
the oh hello! show
always looking forward to whatever they schedule. hasn't been a bad line up since i started going 4 years ago.
also, interested performers of all types feel free to submit for the upcoming sketchfest. information in this thread: http://aspecialthing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=192 and at http://www.sfsketchfest.com

Thanks for all the good ideas...keep 'em coming! I can't/won't tip my hat, but 2009 looks to be another great year for the fest.
Tip your hat, dammit!!!
I promise, we'll keep it a secret.
Sorry. Hat to remain perfectly proportioned...for now.
From RDEMint in another thread:
In David Wain's interview on aintitcool.com, he indicates that The State (all of them) will probably be perfomring new material at SF Sketchfest in January.
Here's the excerpt:
Beaks: There's been a great deal of anticipation out there for THE STATE DVD and, perhaps, a reunion. I know there was something in the works with Comedy Central, but--
Wain: The update is this: I'm pretty sure we're doing a live show of all-new material at the San Francisco Sketchfest in January. The entire group will be there. And we still have loose plans to do a Comedy Central special of some kind sometime next year. The TV series DVD has been finished and ready to go for two years, and is being held by MTV. We are told they will be releasing it sometime in '09.

Suck on that LA.
The lineup for this year still hasn't been announced yet, but the Punchline schedule lists SF Sketchfest presents Aziz Ansari for January 22nd-24th, which is cool because I don't know if he's ever headlined here.
He did.
During Sketchfest in 2006 or 2005, one of the two.
Yeah, I'm probably going to come up from L.A. one weekend for it, so now it's just figuring out which shows I can make it to. Honestly, I'm going to be pumped to see any show (especially after reading up on the previous years).

I thought there was no more Match Game allowed by order of the tv people...? I would love to be wrong about this. Match Game was the best last year.
