    San Jose Improv, Nov. 25th

    Hey, fellow AST'ers!

I will be performing at the San Jose Improv on November 25th. As part of this, I get an unlimited guest list and if you're interested, I would be happy to put you and whomever else you may know that wants to come along on the list.

    Also performing that night:

    Samson Koletkar
    Dana Lovecchio
    Pam Ames
    Wes Hoffman
    Patrick McDermott

Thanks for taking the time. I don't have to submit the list until the Monday prior to the event. And my apologies if this comes off as all spam-y.

    You rock, AST.

What time is your set? I can get down there about 9:00.
    My momma had twin babies on one sweet summer day;
She beat one in the head, and I'm the one that got away.

I'll check and see if there's a lineup already; I can try and push it to later.

    Thanks for the interest!

I've got an e-mail on the way about the schedule, but in the meantime I'll get totally egotistical and crazy about it: I'm also competing in the LoL comedy competition in Jack London Square that started last week, and I perform for the first time on Thursday:

If anybody could make it out and deem me worthy of a vote, that would be awesome. There's also a fair amount of really solid comics performing this week, for some reason...so if you're around, c'mon out.

    Bump!

The basic answer I got on the order was that the people who draw the most people will go later in the evening and get more time. I need to submit my guest list by early next Monday, so if you're interested in going please let me know via PM and I'll put your name on the list.

I really appreciate all the interest already. This will actually be my first appearance at the SJ Improv and I'm looking forward to it.

Quick wrap-up: Holy crap, that was a good night.

The place was packed for a Tuesday night. PACKED! The crowd was great, the comics were ready and the whole show was awesome.

I also did pretty well myself, if I may be so bold. There was certainly much less crying required in my nightly crying-myself-to-sleep routine.

    Thanks, AST.

I was going to come see you, but I didn't make it down, because, um, I didn't want to be murdered by you in an especially gruesome manner.

I've translated that family bloodlust into some kickass comedy*, so you can come out for a future show!

*by "kickass," I mean lots of sighing, sweating and occasional failure. Well, lots of failure.
