i know, a tremendous amount of lead time on this. not listed on rickshaw's site yet, so no idea the cost. but i will say this: stanhope at club deluxe back in february was the best show i've seen all year. and i think those nights sold out pretty quick so you wanna be ahead of it for this one.

I saw him in LA and it was amazing. The only problem with Stanhope is his "super fans" get drunk and start trying to prove how big a fan they are by yelling his name and the names of his jokes while he's talking.

I'm worried about this as well. Especially since it's at the Rickshaw Stop, which basically has no security and is typically a cramped and drunk place anyway.

I didn't know Bisbee, Arizona was at Fisherman's Wharf, Scammy.

Maybe they moved since I saw them or were only visiting Bisbee. The only other possibility is that there is more than one 'dog, cat, mouse' act.

On second thought, that's just crazy talk.

I'm sure it's possible. I was just joshin'. There's a guy who does the tourist-money-grab routine at the wharf who has the same kind of thing. He shops at the same Safeway I do, often going right after the wharf, and he walks them through while still stacked up like that. He also gets his hair cut at the nearby salon, although the Chinese lady who owns the place won't let him bring all of the animals in with him, so they sit on a bench outside. He does still hold the rat.

That same Safeway gets a lot of the street performers, and they are almost all buying liquor with wadded-up singles. Which is either poetic or sad.
