AWESOME promises entertainment at its most human and inexplicable.
Hosted by the ever-eccentric Emmett Montgomery, stand-up comedian galore (assisted by girl genius Barbara Holm), every episode of WEIRD AND AWESOME will feature:
* Stand-up comedy -- such as Mike Drucker (former writer for
“Saturday Night Live”) and local legend James Henneghen!
* Short films!
* Someone singing who doesn’t normally sing, singing their favorite
song after telling the story of why it’s their favorite song
(including Elicia Sanchez, Danielle Radford, and Nicole Lucas)!
* Prizes from local artists and crafters!
* And something really neat and strange, such as the musical
comedy of Brandon Ivery (aka Jimes), magician Louie Foxx,
comedian Solomon Georgio in a dress, and who knows what else!
WEIRD AND AWESOME promises to be a kinder, gentler, yet more willfully peculiar kind of variety show. We hope you’ll join us.
