Tig Notaro is bringing her act to Laff Hole, the venerable alt-comedy showcase at Chop Suey, on February 16th. 9pm. $10.

Notaro, star of the upcoming TV show Tig and Friends, is probably best known for her roles on Comedy Central’s The Sarah Silverman Program and the ABC sitcom In The Motherhood. She’s also one of the most unique voices in stand-up, performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Last Call with Carson Daily and Comedy Central’s Premium Blend.


Her Seattle appearance at Laff Hole will also feature comedy from Rylee Newton (Comedy Central, Jimmy Kimmel Live), Toby Muresianu (National Lampoon Radio), Kevin Hyder (People’s Republic of Komedy), and Travis Watt.

Laff Hole is a twice-a-month showcase of Seattle’s top comics and bands at Chop Suey in Seattle (1325 E Madison St). Showtime is 9pm. Tickets are $10 at the door. For more info go to www.prokomedy.org.

The show turned out great. About 150 people in the audience. Rylee's set was awesome. Same for Travis and Toby. An awesome video from Dan and Mark. Tig seemed very happy with the crowd; she did about an hour and twenty. On my way out I heard a guy say, "Well, now I have a new favorite comedian!" Success!
