POSEHN!!! Live at the Crocodile, May 15th!

The recently renovated Croc seems like it would be an awesome and challenging place for a comedy show.

Brian Posehn will go for the awesome and deal with the challenges on May 15th.

Hope to hear how it goes from someone who goes!

Did no one here on AST go to this?

I totally would have gone if I didn't already have PFT tickets. I'm bummed they were booked to perform the same day - unlucky coincidence I guess.

I believe AST's own Embiggen was the feature act.

    How was the show, Andy?

pg--Thinks that the Seattle sub-forum would be more useful and less moribund if people wouldn't just use it to advertise upcoming shows but would talk about the shows they went to see. Just sad that I go to see so few shows that I'm not on, these days--seattle

I thought it went really well, for the most part. I think the venue's obvious priority was selling drinks (not that that's shocking), which might explain why they advertised the show as starting at 8:00 but didn't schedule the host to take the stage until 9:30. The place was packed, and the crowd was definitely getting a bit antsy and more than a bit drunk -- I don't think they were fans of having an intermission before Brian took the stage, either. Having said that, I thought once the show was underway, the crowd was completely on board and Brian killed. I'm curious as to whether they'll put on more comedy shows there in the future, and whether the crowds really do like the non-seated rock club atmosphere for comedy shows if given a choice.
