Hey guys I am hosting a fun show with my friend Jake Stratton(Bloodhag, Rat City Roller Derby) this thursday June 25th at the Rendezvous Jewelbox theater. 8pm

It's basically a character night centered around the middle school game of pencil fighting.

We're holding an 8 person pencil fighting tournament, raffling off two spots to audience members.

Professor Jake Stratton and the Golden Boy Don "Beauty" Rumble will call the action as pencil fighting's biggest names compete for prizes and glory.

WHAT IS PENCIL FIGHTING?

Two challengers face off, each armed with a regulation wooden pencil.

A coin flip determines which fighter strikes first.

The loser of the coin flip becomes the “Holder” and holds his or her pencil firmly with both hands in a horizontal position.

The winner of the coin flip becomes the “Striker”, and then brings his pencil down in a vertical strike across the opponent’s pencil with full force, attempting to break it in two.

If the Holder’s pencil does not break from the Striker’s attempt, then it becomes the other player’s turn to strike.

This repeats until one player’s pencil breaks.

Surviving pencil advances in the tournament!
