We're continuning our "Meet the Maker" film series with a screening of THE GODFATHER OF GREENBAY tonight with writer, director and star Pete Schwaba. The text from the promo:

The Godfather of Green Bay is a quirky Midwestern comedy about a struggling stand-up comic who gets one last chance at landing a spot on The Tonight Show after blowing nearly every audition that has come his way. However, this seemingly golden opportunity takes him to a small town roadside bar in Wisconsin where the audience is less than appreciative. Throughout the course of the film, the protagonist (Schwaba) encounters an interesting cast of characters, including love-interest Molly (Lauren Holly,) club emcee Dug (Reno 911’s Tom Lennon,) and the title character, a burned out drug dealer (Tony Goldwyn.) The film is also packed with cameos, many of whom are former Chicago comedians such as Jimmy Pardo, Mike Siegel, and Mike Toomey.

Pete will be doing a q & a with the audience after the film.
