i am in town from nyc for a couple months doing a play here and need to see some good stand up. i like sketch and improv as well... i don't know anyone or anything about the comedy scene, besides hannibal, who is great btw. any suggestions on where to go? i'm staying near the hancock building.

flex pass is $100 to see 6 of pretty much any comedy show at Lakeshore Theatre. If you're only here for a couple months, you don't need it. But there's some great shows coming up there you'll wanna go to, check the website.

You MUST see The Reckoning.
You MUST see TJ & Dave. (but call ahead to buy tickets, and show up at least a half hour in advance for good seating)
And of course go to a few Chicago Underground shows!
