Yeah.... what happened at Schubas last night? I've seen facebook status messages and now this... was it just a GREAT show or did Tolk do a backflip off the bar over the heads of a passionately kissing CJ and PK? What did I miss?!?
The crowd was amazing, I don't think I've seen so many people stay that late. What really got everybody going was when Mike Sheehan was doing his usual thing, then started to rag on this woman in the front about her clothes and cleavage. She was a great sport about it, and was pretty vocal back to him. So then he jumps up on the stool and stared telling jokes from there, and then the lady grabbed the mic cord and detached it from the mic. Then Sheehan proceeds to yells shit without the mic, Prescott runs in front of him and waves the light right in his face and he keeps going. Then about six or so people have to pick him up off the stool and drag him off stage and take the mic from him. Everyone went ape shit.
The show was very high energy and everyone was in top form.
Dammit. And I really wanted to go to Schuba's last night too.
