Open Mic (or something along those lines) for 16 year old aspiring singing comedian?

    Hello,

I am currently working on trying to do stand up with my comedy songs, but I've run into a problem. Being 16 years of age, most places aren't interested in letting me perform. This is something I've been working on for a while and I'd love a new place to perform.

Here are some attached songs that I do. If anyone knows of anything, please let me know. It really means alot to me.

    Thanks so much,

    Andy

I would just say stick to stuff you know.
You don't have to worry about a one night stand from 'too much' extacy it won't work. Trust me.
    I'm sorry ... not sorry.

Search for all-ages venues. Generally, those are places that sell food and not just alcohol. Or maybe try a community center or church (if you can keep it clean). Maybe wait til you're a bit older. When you find a place, do what I do.. Perform some songs, then tell some jokes.. then go back to performing songs and so forth. Or start auditioning for stuff. The world is your oyster!

Thanks for the feedback. I am still looking for places, and I'm not coming up with any answers. I performed at Pressure Cafe, which was great and I plan on going back, but I'm hoping to go to other places too.

Any other help would be great.

    Thanks

BUMP! 17 now, still looking for some more places. Any new ideas? I've still only performed at Pressure, but I'm looking for some other places that would let me perform.

    Any help GREATLY appreciated!
