When I started doing Midwest Comedy Showcase at The Clearwater Theater back on December 4, 2008, I only had one goal: to do a suburban comedy show that I would pay money to see. And now, on our 36th show, we say goodbye to a show which provided us great laughs and excellent pastries from my wife.

MCS has had its' fair share of critics (and justly so), and the biggest complaints are: too many comics doing too long of a show. I plead guilty to this. I can't help it. And so, instead of doing one show the right way, I'm diving into excess with the biggest MCS we've ever had! We are saying goodbye to the Clearwater Irish wake-style, with as many comics as want to come up! Currently scheduled to perform:

Lewis Rhine (MCS regular, often called-upon guest host)!
Marty DeRosa (who once hosted a cleavage contest onstage)!
Dan Ronan (MCS obsessive... I think he lived at The Clearwater for 8 weeks)!
Eric Rezendes (longtime favorite, guest host, potty-mouth)!
Mark Nabong (Comedian, lawyer, owner of one hat)!
Joe Kilgallon (MCS favorite who once told every nerd comic to "go out and throw a damn ball")!
Mike Sheehan (who once performed from the side of the balcony)!
Amelia Kleymann (MCS favorite and our brilliant webmaster/promoter)!
Adam Guerino (Sarcastic Squad founder and wonderful friend)!
Mike Wiley (who once mocked the way I introduce comics... also, he loves my bee joke)!
Bob Palos (MCS favorite and owner of many stylish sweaters)!
Ethan Peldo (the youngest, and one of the funniest, MCS performers!)
Mikey Manker (co-star of the hilarious Facebook series "Adam & Mikey Drink Around Epcot)!
Danny Kallas (Snubfest winner, performed one of the best MCS sets we've ever had)!
CJ Toledano (Lincoln Lodge cast member, MCS favorite)!
Kat Rybarski (Comedy Comedy regular, temporary Chicago resident, funny as hell lady)!
Mike Joyce (Comics N Tonics producer, MCS favorite, guy who loves weed)!
