ComedySportz is an awesome room to do stand-up, and The Chaser is super supportive and fun. TONS of people come out for it! You have no excuse not to try it out! I've headlined 100 Proof twice now and stayed for The Chaser both times. Super excited to see it come back.

Made it to 100 Proof and the Chaser for the last show of the season. A lot of fun. I'm glad it's back. Does anyone know if the open mic at Lucky Number Grill on Fridays is still happening? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure Lucky Number Grill is still happening, but is being hosted by Andrew Halter now.

4 mins. This is the first time we're doing it on a saturday, so... i'm not sure how cool The Spot (the bar) will be if we go on into the night. So minimum of 4, maybe looser in future weeks or depending on turnout, we're debating doing a random draw as well, if all we have is a firm two hour window.

^ Yeah, I got there late last week, so I wasn't able to perform, but I'm gonna try and get there in time tomorrow. Seemed to be a pretty good turn out when I got there.

How much time do you get at The Chaser? I know it says it starts at 9:30, but when do you sign up?

Send a personal message to Jamie Campbell on here. Like I said, not to brag, but I've only done the booked half.

    For Comedysportz!
It's 4 minutes. There's a timer on the stage and the music will start after 4 minutes. Also sometimes the later it gets the time for comics cuts down to 3 minutes. It's not often but it's happened a few times while I've been there. But on the plus side, there's a new rule that whoever stays till the end of the Chaser gets the chance to sign up for next week's open mic.

I just want to pop in and say that I did my first ever stand up set at Cole's open mic yesterday and it was AMAZING. Love it. I'm going back next week. And the next week. And the next week.

I did The Edge at Sully's tonight - and it was a nice room and I did well ("Shots! Shots!" ... "I can't. I'm on Prozac.") - but Cole's set the bar SO HIGH!

What are good rooms to do on other days? I'm trying to come up with a schedule of some sort.

Nice. I've been thinking about hitting some open mics again too. I don't really know what rooms are good though.

Rathskellar at Lottie's on Tuesday has been getting pretty good word of mouth.

It's hard to top the camaraderie and support at Cole's though.
