Carpeted Afterhours and JUMBOTRON at Sketchfest.

Hello Information Superhighway,

Some people who post on this board already know me from real life, the rest of you are probably using the internet for recreation. I can respect that.

Anywhoozeewhatszeefutszee the reason I've stepped into your life is because I am in two shows in the 2009 Chicago Sketchfest, and I would like to persuade you to attend. But I'm going to do more than charm you, I've brought evidence.

-The first show is on Jan 11th with a group called Carpeted Afterhours. Here are some clips from last year's show:

-The second show is on Jan 18th with a group called JUMBOTRON, also featuring my roomate CJ Toledano (President of WeirdTech InGorporated)

Some of you may have seen it, anyway there will also be another video featuring our guardian angel Jet Eveleth, and some super fun live scenes. If you saw our summer show there will be enough new stuff to bring you back, and you just might see some of your favorite scenes from that show, only now you'll have the chance for deeper reflection upon them.

Also, the JUMBOTRON show was one of the funniest things I've seen in 2008. Seriously people. Seriously. Go see it.

The rehearsals for Carpeted Afterhours are going really well, and we just shot all of our pre-tape this weekend. We're running and gunning to get everything perfect. Here are some photos from the shoot to tease your appetites:

Just thought I'd "log in" and tell you guys that Carpeted Afterhours is doing a four week run of shows in April at the fabulous Playground Theater. These shows promise be jam packed with windbreakers, zoning laws, and professional devil sticks demonstrations. So whether you're a town historian, a comptroller, or just a local celebrity, this show has got something just for you.

A DIFFERENT SHOW EVERY MONDAY!!!

Each show will have plenty of acting, if you like that sort of thing. There will also be videos and even IDEAS!!!

For the past month Carpeted Afterhours has been doing a run at the Playground Theater, generating a new show each week.

Now as our run draws to a close, we have compiled all the best sketches into one funsplosive laughstravaganza. Time OuT Chicago had this to say about us:

"Carpeted Afterhours is an entirely edge-free, conservative, and compromising sketch show. It’s a most-holds-barred, slow-paced banquet of playacting that takes you tenderly by the jowls and into the land of snooze.
