Hey everybody! I am doing "Comedy at Don's" this Sunday May 17th. It is CJ Toledano and Andrew Smreker's show in Donny's Skybox at Second City. I want to tell you that its free but i think its five bucks and i want to tell you that it starts earlier than 9:30 but it doesn't. I am inviting all my friends and they will, without a doubt, not show up. But, hopefully some of you all will! Come prove that AST is NOT dead in Chicago! Long live the Chicago Sub-Forum!

Hey guys,
I am coming to Chicago from June 10-17th, and I'd love to get onstage a time or two while I'm there. I know I want to check out Schuba's on Sunday, but are there any booked shows or good open mics I should be looking into?
To give some background, I am a comic in Philadelphia, I won Philly's Phunniest Person in 2008 at Helium Comedy Club where I host a bunch, and I've performed at the South Beach Comedy Festival (where I met Kumail! Nice fella). Sorry if that sounds promotion-y, I just wanted to let any potential bookers know that I have a little experience.

another open mic you shouldnt miss is "The Edge" on Wednsday. schubas and the edge are better attended than most of the booked shows i've done. you could talk to CJ Toledano on here about doing some time at the Lincoln Lodge which is a great room, but hes just a cast member there and im not sure how much power he has to book shows. Hes a nice guy, though so im sure he'd pass your name along. ChUC is another show that is well attended. but i know even less about how to get booked in that room. in other chicago news HANNIBAL is in town this week. he's doing a show at Zanie's tomorrow night. but he was at the schubas open mic last night and im willing to bet that he'll be at the Globe Pub's open mic tonight. its the first place i saw the guy probably over a year ago and knowing what a hard worker he is i would think hed use an open mic or two tonight to prepare himself for zanies tomorrow.
