Any recommendations December 16-23?

Can any Chicago comedy aficionados recommend a quality show between roughly December 16 and 23?

Living out here in northern Indiana, its a bit of a live comedy wasteland. Have a buddy coming into town and talked about going into Chicago to see something, but I'm not all that well versed with local places to go or people to see.

Yeah check out the Lincoln Lodge on Thursday or Friday. Come January they will no longer be running a Thursday night show but thats no bother you could go to RIOT comedy just down Irving Park Rd. at Chicago Joe's. Both these shows start at about 9. On Saturday there's a cool showcase called the Two Hour Comedy Hour at The Gallery Cabaret in Bucktown. I think that starts at seven but more like 7:30. If you want to see comedy on Sunday, head to Entertaining Julia at Town Hall Pub for one of the best showcases in town. Monday night I'd recommend going to 100 Proof Comedy at Comedy Sportz; it's a standup show thats really good despite the TGIFridays feel of the place. Or you could go Speakeasy comedy at Stanley's Kitchen and Tap. Tuesday head to Chicago Underground Comedy (ChUC) at the Beat Kitchen and you could even go to the the late night open mic at Weeds after that. Wednesday definitely go to The Comedians You Should Know Show at 9 at Timothy O'Tooles. Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll be happy to help!
