Tadpoles, Polliwogs, and other furtive Amphibians,
Night Kitchen returns on Monday for an evening of laughter, expensive imported beer and my contagious anxiety, all in a homey little room that's nominally compliant with the New York City building code. Merritt and I will be hosting, of course, and taking a break from scrutinizing, in no particular order, the election, the state of the economy, and our number of facebook friends. Be there, drink, and remember that we have only two more editions of Night Kitchen before November 4th. If Obama wins, we'll look forward to shelving our 'Bush/McCain/Palin = antichrist' material and drinking a few beers to celebrate. If McCain wins, we'll sponsor a special "Things to Know About Canadian Citizenship" night and start drinking whiskey and vicodin until the pain goes away.
