there's a huge benefit show for Greg Giraldo's family planned for Feb. 9 at the Beacon Theater in New York. Lineup includes Jerry Seinfeld, Lewis Black, Jim Norton, Dave Attell, Colin Quinn, Tom Papa (hosting), Ted Alexandro, Judy Gold, Jesse Joyce (Greg's writing partner for the roasts)...

When it says "on sale Saturday" I presume that means 12:01 AM — and I should be online to do it then because they'll be sold out by 12:10 AM...

i assume that's what it means... but i'll be online friday as well looking to buy... just in case.... they haven't even gone wide publicizing the event yet. on friday they'll be sending out e-mail blasts.

(And just for future reference, tickets generally go on sale at ticketmaster at 10am or noon. only very rarely do they go on sale at a time other than 10am or noon)

Got two tix, woot!

Turns out there was an Internet pre-sale so the tickets have actually been available for a few days. I was able to get two $61.50 tickets though my first search only showed up two $220 tickets — which I couldn't have afforded —*the search interface is not vey clear, so dig around until you get what you want.

Any ASTers going to this? I'll be there with my wife. There are still some tix available, though only the pricier ones...
